MADA + TOKAN

The following people conceived, designed and implemented MADA+TOKAN and associated software. The blame lies solely at their feet.

Nizar Habash

Dr. Nizar Habash is a Research Scientist at the Center for Computational Learning Systems (CCLS) at Columbia University. His area of interest is computational linguistics/natural language processing, Specifically, Dr. Habash studies machine translation, natural language generation, computational lexical semantics, Arabic dialect modeling, among other things.

Owen Rambow

Dr. Owen Rambow is a Research Scientist at the Center for Computational Learning Systems (CCLS) at Columbia University. His area of interest is formal and computational models of syntax and other levels of linguistic representation. He has an active interest in both theoretical issues and practical applications.

Ryan Roth

Dr. Ryan Roth is a Staff Associate at the Center for Computational Learning Systems (CCLS) at Columbia University. His area of interest is in NLP software application development and engineering, and is the current developer and caretaker of the MADA+TOKAN software, as well as several other tools developed at CCLS.
